Adytum platform — Aegis

Live — staff console

Oversight that can't be overridden.

Aegis is the Adytum platform's independent oversight layer. It's a staff console, not a public app — its job is to watch the platform, keep an audit chain nobody can quietly edit, and say honestly what's known and what isn't.

Part of the Adytum platform: Aegis is the governance layer around the platform's accounting core — oversight the rest of the platform can't override. See the whole platform →
What it watches

Five lenses on the same estate.

Aegis runs independent oversight across the platform — findings land in one place, on one chain.

Security scanning

Continuous security scanning across the platform's systems.

Compliance registry

A compliance & obligations registry — what the platform owes, to whom, tracked in one place.

Internal audit

Internal audit as a standing function, not an annual event.

Remediation tracking

Findings carry remediation tracking — open items stay visible until they're actually closed.

Anomaly engine

An anomaly engine that flags what doesn't look right, for a human to judge.

The governance story

Built so a finding can't disappear.

The point of Aegis isn't the scanners — it's what the system makes impossible.

Append-only

Findings can't be silently deleted.

The audit chain is append-only. Once a finding is recorded, it stays in the record — corrections are new entries, not erasures.

Zero grants to hide

No permission exists that buries a finding.

There are zero grants that can hide a finding — hiding one isn't a restricted action, it's an action that doesn't exist.

One role moves findings

Separation of duties, enforced.

Only the compliance role transitions findings. Nobody else — however senior — can move a finding through its lifecycle.

Green means no known gaps

Never "compliant."

Aegis never declares the platform "compliant." A green board means exactly one thing: no known gaps — a claim about what's known, not a certificate.

How Aegis connects to the platform

It watches the platform

Independent oversight across the estate — security, compliance, audit, remediation, anomalies.

The platform can't watch back

Oversight runs one way. The systems Aegis watches have no path to override, edit, or silence it.

A staff console

Aegis is not a public app — it's the console Adytum staff use to keep the platform honest.
