The audit chain is append-only. Once a finding is recorded, it stays in the record. Corrections are added as new entries.

Zero grants to hide

No permission exists that buries a finding.

No permission can hide a finding, because the system has no action for hiding one.

One role moves findings

Separation of duties, enforced.

Only the compliance role moves findings through their lifecycle. Nobody else can, however senior.

Green means no known gaps

Never "compliant."

Aegis never declares the platform "compliant." A green board means no known gaps. It describes what is known and is not a certificate.
