TaglineGen — 10 ownable taglines in 12 seconds.
TaglineGen doesn't give you 10 generic taglines — it gives you 10 taglines grouped by approach (emotional, functional, contrarian, etc.) so you can compare angles, not just words. Plus a recommended pick with reasoning.
Open TaglineGen
Go to /apps/taglinegen/. Sign in at /portal/ if needed.
1 credit per batch — Plus's 75/month = 75 batches included. This is the cheapest creative app in the suite; use it freely.
Brief the model: 3 fields, all required
The form takes a tight brief. Each field changes the angle TaglineGen will explore:
- Brand / product name — exact name as it'll appear in market
- What it does — one sentence, plain English. No buzzwords.
- Who it's for — specific audience. "SMB owners" beats "small businesses." "Wedding photographers in their first 3 years" beats "photographers."
Generate (12 seconds, 1 credit)
Hit Generate taglines. You get 10 candidates grouped by approach:
| Approach | What it sounds like |
|---|---|
| Functional | States what the product does. Best for B2B and clarity-first markets. |
| Emotional | Names the feeling the customer wants. Best for lifestyle, consumer, premium. |
| Contrarian | Inverts a category cliché. Best for differentiation in crowded markets. |
| Promise | States the outcome the customer will get. Best for performance products. |
You won't get all 4 approaches every time — TaglineGen weights them based on your brief.
Use the recommended pick (then ignore it if you want)
One tagline is marked "Recommended". The model picks based on memorability, clarity, and how distinctive it sounds in your category.
Don't trust it blindly. The pick is a starting point — your taste matters more. But if you're torn between three candidates, the recommended one is usually a defensible choice.
Copy your favorite or "Tune in BrandVoice"
Each tagline tile has two buttons:
- Copy — straight to clipboard. Paste into your site, deck, or social bio.
- Tune in BrandVoice — sends the tagline into BrandVoice with your voice preset so you can stretch it into a full headline, subhead, or longer pitch.
Hit Export as Markdown at the bottom for a paste-ready .md with all 10 + the recommended pick. Useful for a brand brief, a strategy doc, or a Slack share with the team.
When TaglineGen isn't the right tool
- You need a brand name, not a tagline — TaglineGen assumes the name exists. Naming is a different (harder) task.
- You need a paragraph of brand messaging — use BrandVoice.
- You need a long-form pitch — use PitchScore or PromptGen for custom briefs.
